The Renaudot prize, another prominent literary award fails the same day and in the same place as the Goncourt, went to Delphine de Vigan, the only female finalist, for “Cartoon D’après join vraie” .

The booksellers believe that the impact of the Goncourt, which has a symbolic prize of 10 euros, translates into 400,000 books sold and the Renaudot, 200,000 .
