Will Smith, partying with Bomba Estéreo – El Colombiano

Will Smith has returned to music and has done nothing more and nothing less than Bomba Estéreo. The Hollywood star rapper raps on a remix of “Fiesta” that Colombian band released digitally on Friday

.

The collaboration marks the return of Smith to music from their 2005 album “Lost and Found”. Smith discovered Bomba Estéreo, known for its mix of Latin, tropical and electronic beats, on a recent trip to Colombia. Then he asked the group to collaborate together.

“When I told Will Smith wanted to collaborate with a remix of Bomba, could not believe it,” said founder and multi-instrumentalist of Bomba Estereo, Simon Mejia .

“This opportunity to work with Will is something we never dreamed. It really is not a traditional partnership. It’s magic, “Mejia added.

” During the video shoot had a great time and we want to thank him for his warmth, it was truly a pleasure to work with him. It i and rapping in Spanish! “he said.

Smith, 47, raps both Spanish and English in the song. The remix video recorded recently.

“Fiesta” is nominated for a Latin Grammy for record of the year. Bomba Estéreo disc “Dawn” is competing for the gramophone for Best Alternative Music Album.

When the nominations were announced last month, Smith issued a selfie with the quartet in his Facebook page and wrote on a mixture of Spanish and English. “Congratulations to Bomba Estereo for their nominations to Latin Grammy”

The sixteenth annual installment of the Latin Grammys will air live on Thursday, November 19 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
