Ramones House-Club, a place that enhances the culture of punk – Terra.com

With over two thousand objects, a log that records so far 50 multi-band concerts and the whole spirit of punk, the Ramones clubhouse has become one of the most important museums in the world devoted to the iconic band Ramones, just put down inaugurated in Berlin, Germany.

Maybe the location could be considered a problem, because this place is located at the foot of a hill in Ecatepec, State of Mexico, and no car or bicycle can help raise over 100 steep steps leading to this place.

It was the May 12, 2013 when the clubhouse was opened. Founded by Alejandro Garrido “La Rocka”, this place offers visitors much of the history of this group of punk without charging a single penny. Part of the collection is from the personal collection of Garrido and also has some donations.

Life Garrido put an ally in the way, who would become one of the pillars of Clubhouse, Arturo Vega, the Ramones and the manager responsible for creating the iconic band logo when he visited Saturday the Tianguis Poplar.
