The new adaptation of Pinocchio with Robert Downey Jr will be directed by Ron Howard – Blasting News

The winning director of several Oscars, Ron Howard, will be in charge of directing this new adaptation of Pinocchio and replaces Paul Thomas Anderson, who had committed to Warner Bros to write the script and direct the film until last fall abandoned ship. From now on, in charge of putting on the dashboard of adaptation, will be the director of films like A Beautiful Mind, Willow, Frost / Nixon and The Da Vinci Code.

The film will star as Robert Downey Jr, to leave as well, at least for a time to his character Iron Man, to embody the figure of Geppetto’s carpenter who gives life to Pinocchio.
