David Lynch confirmed a new release of Twin Peaks – The Nacional.com

Twin Peaks , the cult of the early nineties, back in 2016 After years of rumors, confirmed the news yesterday their creators. David Lynch and Mark Frost

The two authors published the same message on his Twitter account: “Dear friends … It’s happening again.” A phrase they attached a link that led to a promotional video of the hit thriller.

Since last Friday Lynch wrote a tweet that set off alarm bells. “Dear friends, that gum which they love will stand #damngoodcoffee fashion.” In reference to a sentence of Chapter 3 of the first season

Twin Peaks , winner of three Golden Globes, was released in 1990 with the discovery of the body of Laura Palmer, a young woman from a peaceful fictional town. The crime shocked residents and attracted the FBI agent Dale Cooper (Kyle McLachlan) who discovered a story full of intrigue, secrets, jealousy, greed and even supernatural phenomena.

The series was canceled in 1991 after two seasons. In the final episode, the spirit of Laura Palmer Agent Cooper appeared and whispered: “See you in 25 years.” That phrase kept expecting the thousands of fans in production. It is assumed that the release date will be in June 2016, when two and a half decades of its completion are met.

Lynch and Frost written, produced and directed nine episodes.

The new edition of Twin Peaks will not be a remake but a continuation. The recordings will start in 2015

The only approach that had hitherto fans dates back to 1992, when there was the TV movie Twin Peaks:. Fire Walk With Me , a prequel to the series.
