Spanish Almodóvar film among the Oscar hopefuls – cubasi

Juliet, the latest production by filmmaker Pedro Almodovar is one of the three films shortlisted to represent Spain in the next edition of the Oscars, today announced the national film academy.

The olive, Iciar Bollaín and girlfriend, Paula Ortiz, complete the short list of finalists, whose final bid to compete in the category of best film Foreign Language English will be announced on September 7.
