Gene Wilder dies, the actor who gave life to the legendary Willy Wonka – Gizmodo in Spanish

Depending on your age you probably remember Gene Wilder thanks to the famous meme Internet that says “ Tell Me more “usually represented with the image above. But the reality is that Wilder was an actor of great comedy with a host of films to his credit, and died at 83 years of age.

The actor starred in an avalanche of comedy films, including adaptation to the big screen of the Producers and the film Frankenstein Jr . , both directed and written by the great Mel Brooks (though Wilder participated as a writer in the second). But without doubt it will be remembered by millions as the Willy Wonka Original, in the film Willy Wonka & amp; the Chocolate Factory in 1971, and not that remake who came to the cinema in 2005.

Wilder and Brooks were able to form one of the best duos of comedy for decades, one actor and the other behind the scenes directing and creating great scripts. But however good they were the texts of Mel Brooks, it was the talent of Gene Wilder who could translate his work to perfection in films. And it is that this man could play any character without problems, and always managing to be funny. From mad scientist to eccentric men. Rest in peace. [Via AP]
