He described Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, in a message on the social network Twitter the musical artist Juan Gabriel who died Sunday of a heart attack at age 66.

Juan Gabriel composed and sang hundreds of songs.

Also it sold millions of records so it became a success not only in his native country but in the rest of Latin America.

1. The m eath Palomo

It was the first song written by Juan Gabriel when he was in an orphanage in Ciudad Juarez, abandoned by his mother. He was about 14 years old and learned music in place. He wrote it after seeing how one male pigeon died in the schoolyard.



2. Amor Eterno

It was written for his mother, Victoria Valadez Rojas, after finishing a concert in Acapulco, when he learned of his death in 1972. So reads: “You are the love of which I I / the saddest memory of Acapulco. ” His mother was the true love of his life. Always, in his few interviews thoroughly, he excused his neglect. The song was performed in 1985 by the Spanish Rocio Durcal. The album includes the composition is one of the most successful musical in the history of Mexico. The song became an icon in all celebrations mothers in this country.

3. I have no money

With that triumphed at the Noa Noa bar in Ciudad Juarez, the first song where he had the opportunity to sing on stage. The composition allowed him to record his first single and move to Mexico City, where he consolidated his career. Belongs to the album The Young Soul and was released in 1971.

4. Until I met you

came to light in 1986 in the album Thoughts , one of the songs reminiscent of his mother and the fundamental role in its existence. It is also the title of the series on his biography, authorized by the composer and the only real elements containing about his life.



5. Noa-Noa The

When Juan Gabriel went to seek his fortune in the Mexican capital wrote this song as a tribute to the first stage where he sang professionally, the Noa Noa bar in Ciudad Juarez. The site burned down in 1994 and was demolished in 2007. The theme song was composed in 1979 and was included on their album Memories (1980).

6. I was not born to love

Juan Gabriel never had a known partner, something that was learned from his early teenage years in an orphanage in Ciudad Juarez, and escaped from the site after 15 years. The song written in 1980 refers to that time.



7. Hold me

The director of a telenovela asked a song about the warm embrace of love, but Juan Gabriel said no. Love, answered only embraces “very strong”. And so the composition … And the soap opera was called. It was included in the album of the same name, the number 27 of the artist, published in 2000.

8. Always on my mind

It is a ballad released in 1978 as the first theme song for an album that carried that name. It was part of the memories of the loneliness he suffered in the years since his mother left him at an orphanage in Ciudad Juarez.

9. I am left alone

public was in 1971 and was the first of his songs performed in another language other than Spanish: recorded a version in Japanese. Later, in a series of presentations, combined voice when first recorded “I am left alone” with his voice in 2012 in a production with musical arrangements.



10. I still love you

Juan Gabriel took a break in his career between 1995 and 1996. Away from the stage the main producer of soap operas of Televisa asked a song for his new book, I still love you. The singer agreed. The gesture marked his return to broadcast television in Mexico.



11. Dear

came to light in 1984 on the album Recuerdos II . It was one of his most successful not only in Mexico but throughout Latin America issues. It was the theme song of the Peruvian telenovela Maria Emilia, dear . The song remained throughout 1984 at the first hearing in Mexico.
