Marc Riboud: Iconic images left by the late French photographer – Journal Perú21

Despite his constant incursion in journalism, French photographer Marc Riboud shunned him the title of photojournalist because he thought that his was more capture moments. “I’m not a photojournalist, not an artist, I am a photographer, that’s all,” he said.

Died at 93 this -product Tuesday a long sickness, Riboud became known worldwide for images like the girl with a flower in Washington, protesting the Vietnam war, or the painter on the Eiffel Tower.

Marc Riboud began working for the famous agency Magnum in the late fifties, which maintained a close relationship with fellow photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson.

In 60-year career, photographs Riboud have been published in magazines such as Life, Geo, National Geographic, Paris Match and Stern.
