Stars of ‘Star Wars’ request that the dream of a terminally ill patient compliance – The Nation Costa Rica

The actors of Star Wars Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew John Boyega and have shown their support to an initiative that asks Daniel Fleetwood, a terminal cancer patient, to watch the next installment in the saga before it hits theaters.

According to US media, the campaign launched in the social networking requests that the study Walt Disney and the film’s director, JJ Abrams, give their permission for Fleetwood, a big fan of the series, enjoy The Force Awakens before December 18, date that will be released in American theaters.

On Twitter, Hamil, Mayhew Boyega and showed their support with the message “Help spread the word and want to see a man Awakens #FuerzaParaDaniel #StarWars The Force”.

The Texas resident suffers from a type of cancer that has spread to the lungs. Doctors diagnosed a month or two of living in September.

“I love Star Wars . I love it, “Fleetwood to KPRC, local chain NBC said. “Judging by how the disease has progressed in the last two months, I do not think I get it in the film,” said the patient.

The man of 32 years is resting at home with his wife, Ashley, who made public the intentions of Fleetwood through his Facebook networking page.

“He has that desire and that love, I think it’s something nice. Is just a movie, but it’s magic to many people, “said the wife of the patient, who has created a page on the portal GoFundMe intended to raise funds to pay bills for medical care for her husband.

At the moment, neither the study nor Abrams have publicly declared their position.

The filmmaker has already given a similar desire in 2013 when Daniel Craft, other man with terminal cancer, asked to see Star Trek Into Darkness before its release.

Abrams agreed and Daniel died a few days later to see the film.
