Uggie, the dog from “The Artist” dies at age 13 – El Universal (Venezuela)

MADRID The dog Uggie, the Jack Russell Terrier who accompanied Oscar winner Jean Dujardin in” The Artist “(2011) and Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson in” Water For Elephants, he died last Friday in Los Angeles (USA) at age 13.

According to reports today the Internet portal TMZ, the owner of Uggie, Omar Von Mueller took the “difficult” decision to sacrifice his dog to avoid the suffering caused her suffering prostate cancer and is accentuated in recent weeks.

Her coach, Sarah Clifford, TMZ said the dog was full “A small terrier perfect” energy and “always” will take in his “heart”.

Her role in “The Artist” by Michel Hazanavicius film won five Oscars, earned several awards including the Palm Dog Festival Cannes 2011 at Uggie, who also has printed their mark on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
