Supertramp has canceled all performances of his European tour Supertramp Forever , including his November concert in Barcelona, due to health problems of the founder of the band, Rick Davies , who was recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma and has begun an aggressive treatment to combat the disease.
As reported by the producer Live Nation in a statement, Davies has said: “I really wanted to return to Europe and play with the band again and sorry to disappoint all who supported the upcoming tour. ” “Unfortunately my current health problems have disrupted plans and now I have to concentrate all my energy on getting healthy,” added the leader of the band.
Supertramp has thanked his fans support and Privacy asked about all this, so that will not make further statements about it. The tour was to begin on November 3 in Porto (Portugal) and continue throughout 25 European cities among them– –Madrid and Barcelona, culminating on December 11 with all tickets sold in the Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam (Netherlands ).
From Live Nation Spain, explained that fans who purchased their tickets online here for the concerts in Barcelona and Madrid through any official sales companies, the refund of the same is automatically performed on Thursday August 6.
