Scorsese and DiCaprio in sixth film together – La Prensa Grafica

DiCaprio will play a serial murderer in the next film that Scorsese will direct.

The actor Leonardo DiCaprio and director Martin Scorsese made a sixth film together, the film adaptation of the novel “The Devil in the White City”, the writer Erik Larson, CBS reported.

The project, one of the most liked actor in recent years, after Paramount finally did materialize with rights over other studios like Fox and Universal, are also interested in this story about a serial murderer based on real events.

The story of Larson tells the crimes occurred around Chicago International Fair 1893 and it focuses on the figures of the architect responsible for the construction of the fairgrounds, Daniel H. Burnham, and the builder of the hotel which was built in the facilities, HH Holmes.

In this setting, Holmes designed a crematorium a gas chamber and an area to dissect the bodies of their victims.
