Image caption Although your brain is the same size as that of a any person, Graham has a much larger skull.

At first glance looks like a monstrous being.

It has a huge skull, flattened face, the cut nose, deformed ears and a kind of bags that stand between rib and rib.

It’s called Graham and, according to its creators , is the only person whose physical constitution is designed to allow you to survive a traffic accident.

This imaginary being was created by an initiative of the Committee on Transport accident (TAC) of the Australian region of Victoria with the participation of an expert surgeon trauma, an expert in traffic accidents and a plastic artist, who they had with mission recreate the image of how it should look a human being if it should evolve to survive a car accident .

“the vehicles have evolved much faster than humans and Graham helps us understand why it is necessary to improve every aspect of our road system to protect us from our own mistakes,” he said in a press release the director of TAC, Joe Calafiore.

Each of the characteristics of the physical Graham that are different from the traditional human being are designed as a reminder of the vulnerabilities we have before an accident.

for example, your head is huge because his skull is larger in order to better protect the brain of impacts; no neck, to reduce the risk of damage to the spinal cord ; his face is flattened and greasy and has some teabags between the ribs to lessen the impact of a crash; etc.

With Graham, the authorities of TAC sought to create a teaching tool that would allow them to address the issue of road safety from a new perspective .

the installation will be on display at the State Library of Victoria until August 8 before being sent on tour around the country.

It has also created a website (www.meetgraham.com.au) and modified the curriculum of schools so that students can learn more about the subject.

His message, however, go beyond Australia since Graham’s story has become viral and is now reaching other parts of the world.
