Increases UNESCO World Heritage List – The Universal

Istanbul. -The UNESCO included four new sites in China, India, Iran and Micronesia in the World Heritage List at the annual meeting of the international organization in Istanbul.

The first is a landscape of rock art in Huashan Zuojiang (People’s Republic of China), consisting of 38 sites, created between the V century. BC and the second century.

The second is an archaeological site in Nalanda, India, composed of archaeological remains of a monastery “Mahavihara”. From the third century. C. until the thirteenth century AD, in the enclosure out religious activities and teachers were brought.

During the annual meeting 29 nominations of places are examined to be inscribed on the World heritage list cultural or natural heritage of humanity. This year, Latin America, apart from Mexico, Panama maintains only one candidate.
