Springsteen accompany his autobiography with unreleased songs – Diario Uno

The singer Bruce Springsteen announced Thursday the release of a compilation album of famous songs and unreleased tracks to accompany the next publication of his autobiography.

The rock legend said he had carefully chosen songs “Chapter and Verse” to accompany the themes and chapters of his autobiography “Born to Run”.

This compilation album will on sale on September 23, four days before the publication of the book. As expected, the album will feature the theme “Born to Run”, which gave the title to the autobiography of 500 pages.

The 1975 song tells the dream of the young Springsteen to leave his small hometown, Freehols in New Jersey, in the eastern United States.

Except for this famous song, “Chapter and Verse” opens with five songs never heard before, of which two songs dating back to his teens, when he played with his band The Castiles.

the emblematic “Born in the USA” is also included in this compilation, which ends with the song that gives the name to their album 2012, “Wrecking Ball”.

“The Boss”, as they call it, spent seven years writing his autobiography, which will be published by Simon and Schuster editor.

It recounts in detail his childhood and his early days, when he was produced in the bars of the coastal city of Asbury Park, New Jersey.
