Alejandro Amenabar film will open San Sebastian Film Festival – El Universal (Venezuela)

MADRID Regression , the last work of Spanish director Alejandro Amenabar, the film will officially open the next edition of the San Sebastian Festival, the organization said Friday the film event.

The world premiere of the film will take place on September 18, the day the tournament starts. The film will be screened out of competition, the festival said in a statement.

Amenabar, who is also the scriptwriter of the Spanish-Canadian co-production, has received international actors as Ethan Hawke and Emma Watson star in a thriller about the investigation and clarification of a crime.

Meanwhile, the British film London Road , written and directed by Rufus Norris, will close the festival but out contest.

The 63 edition of San Sebastian Festival will feature 14 films competing for the Golden Shell, of which seven are Spanish production or co-production. It remains to announce the Donostia Prize 2015, which recognizes the career of a movie star and last year went to Benicio del Toro.
