The life of John Lennon and Yoko Ono will be taken to the movies – News Telecast

A film project reflected on the big screen the story of love between the british musician John Lennon and the plastic artist, japanese Yoko Ono.

according to The Hollywood Reporter, this biopic still has no name, will be produced by the own Yoko and Michael De Luca (theFifty Shades of Grey, The Social Network and Captain Phillips). The latter gave more details about the plot:

The story will be focused on your loving relationship, your courage and your activism in the united States. We intend to inspire the youth of today to rise up and have a clear vision of how to fight for the world you want"

The script will be run by Anthony McCarten, who was nominated for an Oscar for The Theory of Everything.

John Lennon and Yoko Ono first met in 1966, during the inauguration of an art exhibition in London, and although then a member of The Beatles, was married, soon parted ways to begin a relationship with the artist that would take you to the altar in 1969. Together would collaborate on various creative projects that consolidated as one of the most famous couples in pop culture of the last few decades.

This relationship is reflected in the theme The Ballad of John and Yoko, The Beatles:

this is Not the first time that the life of Lennon, who was murdered in December of 1980,is taken to the movies. In 2009 the movie Nowhere Boy, focused on the teenage years of John and the creation of his band The Quarrymen, which evolved into The Beatles.
