The swiss Tim Steiner is a lover of art, especially of large tattoos and color. Steiner takes the entire back of the drawing of a Madonna and a skull, which has decided to put on display when you die.

Tim will let you boot from your skin once you have lost the life, and be delivered to Rik Reinking, a German who has purchased, in advance, the canvas that leads impregnated in the back. The fan of the tattoos he claims that his back is nothing more than a canvas, which already has an owner.

This drawing was made by the belgian artist Wim Delvoye, famous for his controversial tattoos on pigs, made ten years ago. The design of the work is composed by a Madonna, a skull mexican style, roses, fish and children with lotus flowers.

This work healed more than 40 hours of work and Tim has been called the “box”, which sold in 2008 to the collector of German art Rik Reinking, who gave one-third of the total price to Steiner.

From that moment on, Steiner displays his back in different art galleries and is hours standing with a naked torso, so that visitors can appreciate the work of Delvoye; and, for that their tattoo does not cease to be known when he is dead, has decided that it is desuellen when you die. So his work "box" you will be able to continue to be displayed.

“The work of art is in my back, I’m just the type that takes it. My back is to the canvas, and I am the temporary framework. My skin belongs to Reinking”, said Steiner to the BBC.
