‘Logan’: Almost all questions that you have about the trailer, answered [Video] – Daily Perú21

In case you’ve spent the morning busy in other activities, we can tell you that the first trailer of Logan —the last film in which Hugh Jackman will play Wolverine— finally saw the light.

The story is set in the year 2024 and both Logan and Professor Charles Xavier seem to be one of the few mutants left in the world, so you must protect a girl (that would be Laura Kinney, is a clone female Wolverine).

how Many questions? Well here we will try to answer almost all.

why Logan has scars?

Given that it is located in the future, both Logan as Xavier have aged. The first to suffer the aches and pains of the age to slowly lose their ability to heal, and the second suffers from Alzheimer’s, a disease that eats away at your brain and therefore also its powers.

hence Wolverine to accumulate scars. In fact, this explained the director James Mangold to the magazine Empire about the decision behind this story:

_"to be able To make a Logan different and a different tone of a Wolverine movie, we felt that we could not bind us to all the established traditions religiously in the movies, because it’d be caught up in decisions taken before us (…) Perhaps his healing factor [for his age] is no longer produces skin soft as a baby, but leaves a scar."

Who is Laura Kinney?

we have Already said that this is the last movie that made Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, but as we know franchises don’t die. that is why it is interesting the presence of Laura Kinney (if it is reached to confirm that is it).

To put it simple: Kinney is a clone a female / daughter Wolverine (depending on what incarnation of the comic you choose) and his first appearance was in the animated series X-Men: Evolution.

But the important thing, as pointed out by this post at Gizmodo, is that Laura eventually becomes Wolverine as part of the reboot that made Marvel (All New Wolverine) and it looks like this:

do You replicate this in future films of the franchise of the mutant everyone’s favorite? I hope so too.

In what timeline this occurs?

The answer to this is simple, but cumbersome because of the large amount of jumps and scrapes in which have gotten the X-Men in recent years.

The only thing that Mangold has revealed about it is that the film is located "in the future, past the point of the epilogue Days Of Future Past", that was the movie that functioned as a sort of reboot for the whole franchise.

What is certain is that everything is a commitment to setting more post-apocalyptic with the aim of exploring in more depth the personality of Logan (and it seems to work).

If you want to break the head more around this topic, you can check this post in a Comicbook (in English).

is There a comic with this plot?

The tape seems to be based —albeit in a referential and non-directly— in Old Man Logan, a publication of eight deliveries written by Mark Millar for Marvel Comics, which is situated in a world where the superheroes have disappeared and the world is living under a dictatorship of villains.

however, with the inclusion of X-23, the Reavers, and Nathaniel Essex the tape also seems to take from other stories are also quite popular.

what we’ll Finally have a Wolverine violent?

we will Let the international trailer to answer that question:
