Frank Miller advises DCEU on Batman – Film Premiere

Should pay attention. After all, it is based on a lot of his work, key scenes of Batman vs Superman: The origin of justice.

what do we mean? Well, Frank Miller chatted with Variety about his point of view on the next movie of Batman, this time by Ben Affleck and as an integral part of the DCEU.

"My dream would be to make it much smaller," confessed Miller. "Lose the toys and focus more on the mission, and use the city as the great theme. Because he has a love relationship with the city that protects. And unlike Superman, if connection with the crime, it is intimate; it has been so since their parents were killed. And he defeats criminals with his hands. So that would be a different angle. But I never would with my own hands, because it would not be a good ground to make toys. There would be No line of toys."

Interesting, isn’t it? And good joke, the of toys, although with the recent Batman: The Telltale Series it is clear to us that Warner/DC are willing to go for a story more cerebral than by display gadgets amazing or ensure sales of toys for children. But of course, this is a blockbuster, so that there is more at stake.

What do you think then? Would it be a good idea that Affleck and Warner to come to Miller for a story that describes that? There is that to consider that maybe Geoff Johns and Affleck already completed the script of The Batman.

By the way, do you remember when Darren Aronofsky (black swan) was behind a bati-project for cinema? Miller explained that the script was based on Batman: Year One, and that it was "much more grounded". However, he acknowledged that it was a film with a source of about 90 minutes… yes, again!!!!
