The family of Prince plans to turn his home in the recording studio Paisley Park in Minnesota, where he died last Thursday in a museum to celebrate their music and preserve his legacy , thus fulfilling one of the wishes of the singer.
“Let’s turn Paisley Park in a museum in memory of Prince. it will be for his fans. it was what mattered most, his fans. it will be a way to remember his music, which is his greatest legacy. Prince was always a very private person, but would have liked us to remember his music, “said his brother, Maurice Phillips, the Sun newspaper.
Prince began work on the creation of the museum before his death , as confirmed by his former partner and frequent collaborator Sheila E.
“we hope to convert Paisley Park in what he wanted it to be. I was working to turn it into a museum. he had begun collecting souvenirs and other memorabilia from their tours, such as batteries and motorcycle. There is a room dedicated to his awards and that kind of things he did not care too much, but he knew his fans would like to see them. There are also lots of pictures on the walls, and some you have seen and others not. On one wall is a mural in his appearing with outstretched hands, on one side are all the people who influenced him and the other all who worked with him. It’s beautiful, “said Sheila to ‘Entertainment Tonight’
