The King of Pop was a step to become one of the most hated characters Star Wars. Michael Jackson wanted to play Jar Jar Binks , and has revealed Ahmed Best , the actor who finally gave life to the character.
Best said during an interview with Vice, the King of Pop expressed interest in giving life to this creature. Jackson wanted to use a special makeup similar to that used in the video for his hit Thriller, but George Lucas disagreed and rejected the proposal.
During one of the concerts the King of Pop, which the actor attended with Natalie Portman and George Lucas – met the singer backstage. “At that time George introduced me as Jar Jar and I was surprised.”
When the show ended, they all went to a party. Jar Jar Binks , a native of the planet Naboo, was the first Gungan who represented his village in the Galactic Senate. Characterized by a peculiar accent and to be quite blunt, is considered one of the least beloved characters in the saga. In fact, in 2006, was chosen as one of the most irritating characters in film history.
