Zubin Mehta and the Vienna Philharmonic receive 2015 – The Universal


 Compasses waltz, champagne, confetti and applause were cited today in the Musikverein in Vienna to give an elegant musical start in 2015 with the 75th New Year’s Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic .

The Golden Hall tucked Zubin Mehta (Bombay, 1936) with a warm ovation when the Indian master rose for the fifth time in his life the Viennese stage and began with the traditional gesture excited recital.

He tore the most famous and world concert with compasses dominated program, as tradition dictates, by the waltzes of Strauss, and would have her brooch with popular Radetzky March The soundtrack of the start of the year for excellence.
