Spider Man 3 was terrible: Sam Raimi – The Universal

“I messed a lot with the third Spider Man ” admitted the director Sam Raimi in reference to tape it closed in 2007 trilogy starring Tobey Maguire .

The filmmaker described as “terrible” the film during an interview with Nerdist . “It’s just a movie that did not work very well. I tried to make it work,” said Raimi about his work in production which closed its links with the Marvel hero on the big screen.

“I do not believe in all the characters and fans of the saga realized. If a principal is not in love with what he does is wrong to do so, especially when so many people love the superhero” he said.

The director acknowledged that much wrong with the film, adding that it was enough “to make people hate me for years – still hate me for it.”

“Spider Man 3″ grossed about $ 900 million despite the negative reviews, after which left the direction Raimi and Sony decided to reboot the franchise with Andrew Garfield as the lead in “The Amazing Spider Man “.
