Controversy in Spain by botched restoration of the ninth century castle – El Universal

century castle IX in the municipality of Villamartín, Cadiz, was the cause of a new controversy in Spain by its failed restoration .

Billed as of Cultural Interest, Castle Matrera was approved for structural restoration in 2015 after a year before the roof and a wall collapsed by rain and motivate their inclusion in the list of Spanish heritage in ruins .
